to a conversation with Berenice Celeita, president of an NGO in Colombia, whose aim is to “defend the civil, political, economic, social, cultural and environmental rights of the communities of the southwest, coffee region and central Colombia.” Hosted by the the Ottawa-Gatineau Amnesty International Group.
Berenice will raise the issue of Export Canada’s support for mining interests there, where 186 land defenders were murdered in Colombia in 2022.
