Amnesty International Canada Section (English Speaking) is thrilled to announce we will be holding the 2024 Annual General Meeting (AGM) from 1-3 PM (13:00-15:00 EDT) on Sunday, June 9, 2024. 
 
The 2024 AGM will be held online in conjunction with a regular Board Meeting, not as a conference-style event. This aligns with a previously passed resolution in which members decided to reduce Amnesty’s carbon footprint by hosting in-person AGMs in odd-numbered years only.

The focus of this year’s meeting will be essential business such as Board elections, approving audited financial statements, and appointing auditors for the next fiscal year.

ONLINE ELECTIONS 
All Amnesty members will receive an electronic ballot for Board elections at the end of May 2024. Candidate profiles and nomination videos will be shared on the AGM Event website in early May.
