Join us for a live online Amnesty Canada Book Club event for World Refugee Day with Vinh Nguyen, the Canadian author of the memoir “The Migrant Rain Falls in Reverse.” June 20th at 5pm Saskatchewan time. Along with his mother and siblings, Nguyen was one of millions of refugees who fled Vietnam by boat after the Fall of Saigon in 1975. Decades later, Nguyen goes looking for answers about his father, who left separately and mysteriously vanished.
