Every year around Human Rights Day on December 10th Amnesty International supporters around the world send letters, emails and petitions in support of people at risk of human rights abuses.

Amnesty International Saskatchewan will be hosting a special online Write for Rights event on Tuesday, December 7th, 2021 from 7pm to 9pm and you are invited!!! This event is being organized by members of the Saskatoon and Regina Amnesty Groups and we welcome everyone in Saskatchewan (and also friends from elsewhere) to join us.

We are very appreciative of the support from Parliamentary Poet Laureate Louise Bernice Halfe – Sky Dancer who will be joining us in reading, discussing and letter writing.

The event will be in English, but there will be breakout groups to write letters in Spanish and Arabic:

سيكون النشاط باللغة الإنجليزية، ولكن ستكون هناك غرفة (الكترونية) جانبية للكتابة باللغة العربية.
