Saturday, March 11 at 10am – join Amnesty International members and supporters at the Regina Women’s March – at the YWCA – 1940 McIntyre Street.

We March together again! As part of the IWD celebrations, join women & gender-diverse people to share your voice. Bring your signs, voices & allies. We will also have some Amnesty International signs and banners!

After the March, there will be a gathering for a community social in the basement gym of the YWCA with organizations that are supporting women and gender-diverse people in our community.

People around the country are working together to celebrate International Women’s Day 2023 in Canada. It’s a global day organized annually that recognizes and celebrates the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women.

But International Women’s Day is more important than ever before. Last year, there were alarming assaults on the rights of women in Canada and around the world. Legal protections were also dismantled, and women worldwide faced unprecedented risk.
