Welcome to Amnesty International Regina! We're a group of individuals who come together to celebrate and fight for human rights at home and around the world. Getting involved is as easy as showing up at one of our events and introducing yourself!

We organize displays and participate in many annual events. We also host our own events and meetings.

Some of us are meeting Tuesdays at 7pm at the Atlantis Coffee Shop (in the vault) at Victoria Avenue and Hamilton to write letters on current Amnesty International appeals.

WOZA: Women of Zimbabwe Arise! is a special undertaking by the Regina Community group. This is a group advocating nonviolent intervention to promote social justice, democracy and (particularly) women's rights in Zimbabwe. They have faced considerable repression from the Mugabe regime and have asked for international advocacy from Amnesty. We write to the political leaders of Zimbabwe to ensure they are aware that the world is watching events closely and arbitrary arrests and intimidation must end.

We will be displaying two very impressive Amnesty International photo exhibits at this event. The first is the Colombia Indigenous Peoples photo exhibit.
